feature film, “Ravana – The Lost Battle with Shri Ram.”
More than just a film, this groundbreaking project introduces an innovative student-led production model, empowering aspiring animators and filmmakers to gain hands-on
experience by contributing to a full-scale theatrical feature while they learn. This unique initiative bridges the gap between education and the professional entertainment
industry, transforming classrooms into real production studios.
Guided by the academic and creative mentorship of FTII, the project offers students an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with industry experts, work on live
production pipelines, and build professional portfolios through real-world filmmaking experience.
Scheduled for a Summer 2027 theatrical release, “Ravana – The Lost Battle with Shri Ram” is envisioned as a landmark animation production that will bring an epic
untold story to audiences across India and beyond. Following its cinema release, the film is expected to reach wider audiences through television networks and leading
digital streaming platforms.
